If you actually take the time and look at what powers things it becomes apparent that some engines are corner stones that we could not done anything without!
This is a Rolls-Royce/Merlin V12 Engine
It kind of Ironic that this engine powered Aircraft - Spitfire(All Variants), Lancaster, Halifax, P-51 Mustang then near the end of the WWII that the British would put in their first true Heavy Main Battle Tank......the Centurion
She's being restored by Base Maintenance Wainwirght
And yes although it set-up for a Tank with about 36 hours of labour can be converted to be used in any Aircraft that was designed to use it
